The following Strategic Goals set out how PMAC will fulfill its mission and realize its vision:

1. Strengthen Leadership in the Supply Chain Management Space

  • Define the standards of supply chain management in Canada
  • Develop depth of expertise through the full scope of SCM
  • Lead advocacy and government relations for the profession
  • Create access to or support market intelligence about the SCM field of practice

2. Support Strategic Supply Chain Management Practice through Leading-Edge Education and Resources

  • Assure quality and accessibility of the core programs of supply chain management training
  • Create continuing professional development for the full range of SCM competencies and in leading practices
  • Facilitate the sharing of sustainable supply chain expertise

3. Increase Market Awareness and Understanding of the SCM Profession and the Value Added to Enterprises by the SCM Professional

  • Recruit new members from the full scope of supply chain management
  • Build employers' awareness of the professional designation and PMAC training
  • Public sector market development
  • Motivate aspiring practitioners to choose SCM as a career

4. Support Members

  • Strengthen the value proposition of membership
  • Increase member engagement and contribution
  • Enhance "customer service" to members
