Charity of Choice
This year, in lieu of speaker gifts, PMAC is making a donation to the Don Borsk Canadian Supply Chain Career Awareness Fund on behalf of our presenters.
The Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council (CSCSC) is partnered with Junior Achievement of Canada (JA) to deliver supply chain career information to students across Canada. JA reaches into schools in more than 400 communities to provide business-education programs delivered by volunteers. By working with JA, volunteers from the supply chain can demystify careers in the sector for young people as they consider their future paths.
Delivering a JA program costs about $500 for volunteer training and materials for volunteers, students and teachers. To ensure that supply chain stakeholders can participate in this effort, the CSCSC is raising funds to cover those costs. The Don Borsk Canadian Supply Chain Career Awareness Fund was established to allow individuals to volunteer their time supported by the collective contributions of their peers. Donations to this charitable fund of as little as five or ten dollars will add to the CSCSC's ability to share information with students and teachers about supply chain careers.
Details about the CSCSC/JA partnership can be found at www.supplychaincanada.org/en/JA-Canada. ![]()
What to Wear; What not to Wear
When deciding what to pack, keep in mind that the daily average temperature in Moncton in June is 16˚C, with a maximum and minimum temperature range of 21.9 ˚C to 9.9 ˚C.
All educational sessions are business casual as are the Wednesday and Thursday night networking events. Attendees who are planning on participating in the optional harbour cruise on Wednesday night may want to bring extra layers.
The final networking event, the Board Chair Gala, is a semi-formal event, and we recommend you go with whatever suits you.
