2008 Conference

A total of 600 delegates attended PMAC’s 83rd National Conference on May 21-23, 2008 in St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador to learn the latest trends and best practices that are shaping supply chain management in the 21st century.

Four inspirational keynotes provided their insights on being a successful business leader, overcoming obstacles and imagining the impossible. The conference’s 25 education sessions examined critical issues in supply chain management, including green procurement, low-cost country sourcing and supplier performance measurement.

The conference also incorporated the province’s culture into its networking events, which featured a traditional “Newfoundland Kitchen Party,” a memorable pub crawl through downtown St. John’s and the Celtic Fiddlers at the Board Chair Gala.
