International Symposium on Supply Chain Management

Hosted by the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC), the Symposium is a platform for sharing recent academic research on critical supply chain issues and discussing solutions adopted by industry leaders.

The two-day symposium brings together practitioners from public and private sectors and academic researchers in a lively exchange of information and experiences that highlight today's best practices and innovations in supply chain technology and management, pointing the way to improved competitiveness.

Targeted topics for 2010: Innovation, Sustainability, Performance Measurement. These are the focus topics, but papers on any leading supply chain topic will be considered.

New this year: Sunday afternoon start, an off-site plant tour for all delegates and panel discussions between academics and practitioners.

In addition to competitively-selected academic papers and practitioner presentations, the program includes keynote addresses by leaders in the field, stimulating panel sessions on popular topics and ample opportunity for informal discussion.

Goals of the Symposium

Deadline for all submissions is June 15, 2010. Submissions should not exceed 500 words for academic papers and practitioner white papers, and 200 words for abstract presentations.
