PMAC undertakes, sponsors or supports research studies on an ongoing basis as part of its commitment to being on the leading edge of best practices and trends in purchasing and supply chain management and in order to advance the profession.
The Association has, in the recent past, worked with prestigious organizations such as the Conference Board of Canada and the internationally-based Future Purchasing Alliance which is a major collaboration between global partners (with PMAC being the first non-European purchasing association invited to participate).
PMAC also supports research projects recommended and/or endorsed by leading academics in the supply chain management and related fields - we have allied ourselves recently with St. Mary's University and Athabasca University in this regard.
